There are several versions on the Internet that are basically the same with only minor textual differences. In response to questions about the version we are using on this website, this version is comparatively truer to the "children's primer reciting song (蒙童诵歌)" style, a style also found in The Three Character Classic (三字经) and The Thousand Word Text (千字文). Therefore, this version might be truer to the original. Some versions separate the sections with chapter headings, but that is foreign to the "reciting song" style. Some versions do not separate the sections at all, but that makes the meaning unclear at several points. In contrast this version uses summary verses to separate the sections, compatible with the reciting song style.

Also, preceding text is called "text to the right", true to the old writing style. Furthermore, the character 悌 (ti) is not used, but the character 弟 is used in place of 悌, and that is also an olden style of writing.

I think this version might be older and closer to Li Yu-Xiu's original version.
